Playing on PC. Waited until season reset. Rebirthed a character. Completed the Challenge Rift within the bonus time frame. Have a green check next to the cache. Logged in to the character in Adventure mode…no cache. Same for Campaign.
My inventory is completely empty. My stash is empty. Obelisk is not glowing and interacting with it doesn’t help. Have closed out and reopened the game. Have waited a day.
Absolutely nothing is fixing this. Any ideas? I’ve never played Seasonal before and also never complete the Challenge Rift. So is there something I’m missing? Everything I’ve read says it should just be in my inventory…
Hey Zarathustra,
Log into the character that you plan to claim the cache with. In the lower left there will be a green mail icon. Click it to open your mailbox. From there you can move the cache to your inventory.

There are many Challenge Rift videos on the internet. Unfortunately, I’ve never seen one that shows how to collect the Cache after you successfully complete the Rift. So, 5 years ago I made this 9-minute video showing the start, completion and collecting the Cache.

Note: In the video I said that the Challenge Rift resets every Monday at 2:00 PM PST/PDT. But, it actually resets every Monday at 1:00 PM PST/PDT.

I’ve done lots of Challenge Rifts for the Altar requirement. This time, on the Asia server the cache isn’t available to my seasonal level 34 hero. It shows up on non-seasonal though. I logged out and shut down the app, restarted and still nothing. Any help or is this a non-fixable bug? Or am I missing something dumb? Thanks.
Did you by chance complete the CR before the season started, even if it was mere minutes or seconds before?
No. I did it just today (Witchdoctor). I got the previous Cache (Monk) for season start so that was good. Also, there’s some chance that the cache showing up on non-seasonal characters is leftover from some previous Challenge Rift…I think it’s from this CR, but can’t be 100% certain.
Maybe with this update the cache will appear. 
I love magic.
Just logged in. Still not there. Guess I’ll get it some other time. Ohwellllll.
