Challenge rift cache "buy back" needed!

This season is great. With the exception of the Challenge Rift Cache issue many players are having.

Many people (out of pure habit) will open the challenge rift cache accidently. Now they must wait an entire week to get another! A whole week!!

For the spirit of this season we should be able to “Buy Back” our Cache at a vendor within the same game session…long as the items that were available in the cache are available/not used.

This would be a nice quality of life improvement for this season. In fact its needed.

Please consider this (with peace and love)

Nope, far too easy to get infinite resources considering the Cache contains gold, Shards, and materials.

Buying it back would lead to loops, like the PTR version.

Yay… fun for like 2 minutes.

The refund you cannot get the resource as its “refunded” lol. For your consideration. This action needs to be done immediately during the gaming session, or within a certain amount of time. And Only refunded ONCE! Do it again your out of luck lol!

There will be no infinite resources and no way to game the system.

After years and years of playing D3 people hit the cache out of pure habit lol.

This is an easy fix!

Mistakes should have consequences. This game is already far too easy. If you can’t slow down and think about your next move, then you should suffer the consequences.

Take this week to think about what you can do differently come Monday.

Ask how you can be better instead of how you can make the world adapt to you.

I did the same, LOL. A brain fart and now I have to wait a week. But I will wait patiently. It was my fault, blizz can’t hold anybodys hand. I F-ed up, now I must suffer the consequences. And I gladly suffer in silence, instead of comeing here beging, because I was stupid, I deserve it. Deal. With. IT. Like me. Farm paragon and bounties untill then.

Actually, many players are opening caches accidently…out of pure habit after many years.

The best way would of been to put an item in the Challenge Rift Cache that needs to be turned in at the alter!! Easy Fix!

In this fashion the spirit of the alter progression (regarding Challenge Rift) is still required. Players can continue their journey at the alter and not wait an entire week.

This can be fixed…

I screwed up as well altho I do agree mistakes should have consequences a dialog prompt box would go a long way towards helping this issue. Something like “Are You Sure You Want to Open this Now?” After all it’s not as if we don’t see that with every single legendary we salvage.

…but it shouldn’t.

But for Season 28 they should of put a unique item in the Challenge Cache itself so that opening the cache does not matter.
People do it out of habit for ever…

This was just bad design for this. Easily fixed!

Or people can just slow down a bit and think what there doing .
and it’s easy fixed already you will get another chance next week .

So? You are grown adult and have full control of actions. Why do many others don’t open them from habits?

Learn from your mistakes.

if they did the buy back, it should cost all of your gold and double all the materials you got from the chest

Did the same. In my defense, was up all night grinding and waiting for the new CR cuz opened one Friday (no idea) it would go that fast. Tired, punchy…yes, and very, very dumb. Fiddling with the cache trying to drop onto altar, whammo…right click …nooooooooo. Wish there was a confirmation dialog box tho. As Wudi would say, ‘we go again.’

The only consequence is waiting a week until you are able to finish your altar. not that big a deal, since the season is not ending any time soon.

The entitled.

Padding for 20 characters.

I know right! People want to finish “the season” the first week… they should just make seasons a week long than! lol

So many unforgiving people posting in these kinds of threads. I really hope you are all as perfect as you make out to be otherwise karma is a bit** as the saying goes.
