Please let “starter accounts” post. This is ridiculous, as if starter accounts have nothing to say or contribute.
Anyone can create starter account.
If doing so, just means opening the forum to public.
so what? people interested will come in, people who aren’t won’t.
I am sorry but the forums are for players of Diablo 3 to discuss the game. Blizzard prefers to limit that discussion to people who actually own the game.
Doing so prevents those who don’t have any experience with it from commenting and influencing feedback on the official forums. It also prevents lots of spam and trolling. The spam and trolling are honestly the biggest issue.
If people who don’t own the game wish to comment, they can do so via informal sites like reddit or fan websites.
Officially replying to this and locking the thread, as this is not the appropriate place to have this discussion.
As MissCheetah says, to prevent abuse of the forums (Bots/spammers/trolls/etc), this is an intentional forum design choice. If you find that you have technical issues, you’re welcome to use these forums. However, this is not the appropriate place to provide feedback as this is a technical support forum.
