I get this error message; it opens and instantly closes everytime I click it and reports an error =(

You are not alone. I have the same thing. Press play and it almost looks like the game launches then instantly crashes and gives an error message.

Checking drivers and things now just in case that is part of it.

You are not the only one; just imagine… what the “true” stress test is. All these tickets, error messages… One might think, it is their way to gauge just how many people attempted to log in at same time.

Anyone try running “c:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II Resurrected Beta\game.exe” as admin?

(not sure if this is the exact folder, but it should be close.)

im doing windows update, i got problems with radeon amd drivers, cant install most recent ones

Considering the sheer amount of folks reporting this or similar I suspect the issue is more deeply ingrained than a simple local driver problem
