Hello there,
I’m not from the US, but the issue may be common. Just tried to log in to my other account which was inactive for 3 years. It requires to use a security code sent to email. But this email was also inactive for 3 years and I can’t log in there too - maybe because it was linked to Internet Explorer which is dead now, and Microsoft Edge doesn’t recognize my phone number.
Is there any other way to log in? To get the code not via email? I’m not an IT person/advanced PC user, really don’t know what to do.
?? account “locked” ??
?? authenticator ??
Can you access that account through the Battle.Net Website: https://account.battle.net/details ?
In any case, I suspect you will need to contact Blizzard Support, explain the situation, and ask them to change the e-mail to another address (you will need to provide a new one – one that isn’t already used for a Battle.Net account – in your ticket).
If your account has an authenticator, you will need to ask them to remove it temporarily. Be aware that there has been changes to authenticators; see: Authenticator Mobile App Migration Deadline Approaching - Feedback Discussion - Blizzard Forums
Blizzard will probably ask you to answer questions about your account to ascertain that you are the owner of the account. If your ticket is closed (this seems to happen most of the time), you will need to create a new ticket, provide the first ticket number as reference, and provide the answers to their questions. If your ticket is still opened (lucky you !!), you can simply reply to it and add the requested info.
Your BattleTag number starts with a “2”; that usually means that your home region is Europe. I will therefore provide links to the Europe region sites:
Good luck – if you need help… ask ! I’m not as experienced as some of the MVPs, but I’ve helped a few people regain the control of their account… I’ll try to help you if needed.

Thank you for your help.
The account isn’t locked, I don’t have an authenticator. The only problem is the lack of access to email linked to my other account. I’ll try to contact support then.
Yeah… I understand what you’re saying, but I don’t know why it’s trying to send you a code at that address… unless someone tried to hack you and got the account locked.
Perhaps the Account dept can figure it out !
Good luck !

I don’t think it’s hacked. Sometimes they send me a code like this to log in to my main account ( this one ), it’s not a problem at all and usually takes less than a minute to enter the code and log in.

Ok – it never does that for me.
Good luck and have a nice day !

I sent a message to Blizzard Support four days ago… no response.
P.S. It’s a vicious circle - they want a security code, I can’t restore my email where the code was sent -_________-
Don’t know what to say… except that if you got a ticket number, you’ll get an answer…
(unless of course they told you to stop writing – but I don’t think that’s the case)
There might be a lot of people in the queue in front of you; what does your ticket status say ?

Status - need more info. Should I send it again with “more info”?
Click on it… it should open and you should be able to read the answer from the Game Master.
I find it odd though that you didn’t get an e-mail notifying you that your ticket needed more info,
See what info is needed… if the ticket is still opened, you should be able to reply to it.

Thanks a lot, I just clicked into the “ticket” - and found the answer. They want to verify some account information, the full list doesn’t look very optimistic to me, but I’ll try something. Maybe it will help.

Answer the ones that you are 100% sure of first… you are trying to convince them that you are the rightful owner of that account.
Good luck !!
