Can't complete "The Little Things That Count"

When trying to complete Chapter 2 in Season 33 of Diablo III, I cannot complete “The Little Things That Count” (a ring or amulet of level 70 status), because the Altar of Spirits is making everything level 1. Is this a fixable issue?

Yep.

It’s the same process as “Hot anvil, strong steel & the real deal”… you got to make a level 70 item – a piece of Jewelry this time instead of armour or a weapon.

Read again… the Altar of Rites doesn’t make everything level 1 – it merely removes the level requirement. Not at all the same.

Also… just in case that’s what you’re trying to do… crafting a Hellfire ring or amulet won’t work… since those 2 items don’t have an item level.

Craft a Sovereign Follower Amulet at the Blacksmith and then upgrade it to Legendary in Kanai’s Cube.

This will get you credit for 2 Season Journey Objectives:

  1. The Little Things That Count
  2. …Is Another Man’s Treasure

When crafting items:

  • Level 70 Rare items start with Sovereign.
  • Level 70 Rare 1-Hand Scythes start with Grandmaster.
  • Level 70 Rare Phylacteries start with Embalming.

Did you even try to complete this, or was it “oh, all items are lvl 1, it cannot be done, must report a bug”?

Seems to me that it would be faster and smarter to do a quick google search before reporting something as a bug. Many questions already have answers available. Not all things you cant figure out are bugs.

In the past, I’ve crafted a Hellfire amulet or ring and it did just fine. Maybe I overlooked it or maybe I forgot that I used a different one. Either way don’t be a butthole and assume. I was simply asking for advice/help and not some ignorant butt remark.

You are confused.

Crafting the Hellfire amulet or ring has never satisfied the objective of crafting a level 70 amulet or ring.

Crafting a Hellfire amulet WILL satisfy the objective “Regards from the Realm of Madness” for the Destroyer tier however… so perhaps this is what you remember.

That is not what the Bug Report Forum is for. And what you’re discussing here is not a bug.

For future reference, these kinds of threads should be posted in the General Discussion Forum.

Indeed.

For posts like this, you want to use the discussion forums. Like Perusoe mentioned, General Discussion. Even New Player Help would be appropriate.
