Can't access Quick Match

I am playing Diablo 3 seasonal on PS4. The Quick Match option is greyed out for me and I can only select it on start up of the game, which then immediately gives me the following warning:

ATTENTION
Matchmaking for Seasonal games is unavailable because the Season is not currently available from Diablo III servers.

This has never happened before and even when I open my game to the public, no one is joining. Game is up to date, I don’t know what else to do. Any thoughts?

Did you by any chance start a SSF (Solo Self Found) character?

Didn’t even know that was a thing! I did what I normally do when rebirthing seasonal characters. Damn.
