Was playing D3 last couple days on PC, as well as this morning, then suddenly when trying to open D3 it would fail.
Tried the repair option through battlenet desktop app and it would scan to 82% then stick there for a couple hours.
So, i thought uninstall. Battlenet uninstall option says uninstalling/removing files but just hangs and does not finish.
Tried rebooting and trying repair/uninstall option and still will not work.
Help!
Hi,
Have you tried to delete the Diablo III folders manually ? They are normally located here:
- Diablo III :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III
and
- Diablo III Public Test Realm (PTR) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III Public Test
You might have to shut down Battle.Net completely before deleting the folders… just in case it has some of the D3 files still opened.
You should probably check the drive where D3 is installed for errors.
Then re-install Diablo III using the Battle.Net App.
