Can you craft a primal item? Been trying for crimson stuff but only anc AND darn stone gauntlets I cant seem to get been trying for month or more no go. Wasted thousands in items trying both cube and merchant and drop. TY
For craftable items, you can only get primals by crafting. Reforge can’t be used for these items.
The only thing can’t get primal is the “Convert Set Item” recipe in the cube because it guarentees NO ANCIENT.
All other means have slim chance of getting primal.
Yes, I have a primal Crimson belt. bad roll though…lol!
Yes. Check out my DH’s belt / legs… Multishot
8 Primals…
I wish I had that kind of luck. lol I have YET to see a single build related Primal for MS demon hunter, and I play it a lot. Ah well.
Heck, my LeapQuake Barb has all six pieces of the MotE set and weapon as primal and yet the most strenuous content I’ve ever done with her is the set dungeon. I seem to get a lot more primals for sets that I never bother with than the ones I’m actually using. I’ve got a Raekor set in the Stash with 5/6 primals too, I think.
This made me chuckle… and feel a little better.
I’m in the same boat.
My Raiment Monk is the most primaled up. Just happens to be the one Monk build I never play and am horribly bad at.
its called confirmation bias
but i know the feeling
Group play or solo?
Group play may provide better results.
I have 17 heroes, of which I only really play 3 of them (seasonal WW Barb, non-seasonal WW Barb, non-seasonal Impale DH). All 17 of them are covered in primals. I’ve also got lots of primals for sets I don’t have a corresponding hero for. So, any of the primals on 14/17 of my heroes are stuff I don’t really make use of, not to mention the stash-tabs-worth of red things I keep just to be able to link stuff in chat.
whats your point?
20characters
My Templar was decked out in all Primals before I got my first Primal Yang’s, and I reforge a ton of Yang’s every season, usually about 100-150 reforges a season.
It’s totally possible but I can’t call myself lucky. But rerolling brought me in some nice ancients.
My point was that most of the primals I’ve got are on the 14 heroes I don’t play, rather than the 3 heroes I do.
14/17 is roughly 82%. As you claimed I had confirmation bias, I was demonstrating that under 1 in 5 of my primals were for heroes I actually play. You know, statistical evidence for my statement, rather than a feelings-based claim.
according to you earlier statement you only play ww/rend barb when playing barb is this still correct?
if so there are 5 barb sets and you only use 1 therefore the expected % of usable primal set items is 20%. you claim 82% primal items for builds you dont play therefore there is no statistical anomalie.
you ofc get more primals for sets you dont play simply bcs there are 4 times more sets you dont play then sets you do play.
What torment level in the game are you crafting? I believe crafting gets better in T16 sessions.
difficulty has no effect on craftable items
If you believe that then craft your items in a normal session.
and if you dont craft only in t16.
No need, as he doesn’t believe difficulty affects the quality/outcome of the crafted item. If he believes it gets better at lower difficulty, that’s when he should he lowering difficulty to craft an item. Simply going out of his way to lower difficulty is a waste of time to him.
