I see, you mean whimsyshire drops staff of herding? Or I can craft it to use at whimsyshire at sir william for the portrait?

You need to craft the staff to be able to open whimsyshire

You can also get the Spectrum sword and the Horadric hamburger for transmos

hey guys, I’ve been running over 13 hours non stop with super speed 250-280% movement speed at all times, with only 1 rainbow goblin so far, I got many other goblins though, even gotten like 10 pets from menagerist gob… just not the rainbow ones and I often read about people getting it after 100-300 rainbow goblins? Isn’t that insane? Or am not doing the right thing here?

Also, does the wing only drop in `whimsydale’ and not whimsyshire?

I’ve been running:-

Act 1:
Southern highlands cave
Nothern highlands
Halls of agony 3
The weeping hallow
Cathedral lvl2 - leoric passage
The royal crypt

Act 2:
Desolate sands cave
Ancient waterway - western 1/2 and eastern 1/2

Act 3:
The bridge of korsikk - cavern of frost 1&2
The core of arreat
Tower of the dammed lvl1&2

Act 4:
Gardens of the hope level 1

Act 5:
Pandemonium fortress level 1&2

Remember that the Rainbow Goblin spawn can be anywhere in the game, not just specific farming locations … which are common areas where goblins spawn.

I ran into a RB Gobby during the solo Boss Mode Conquest once, and bailed that attempt for a chance at the cosmic wings :rofl:

Note that you can only encounter one Rainbow Goblin portal per game instance. If you see another in the same game, it will open a portal to the same Whimsydale area you just cleared. Restart game after every Rainbow Goblin portal. It is also a great place to stock up on mats making multiple trips to town worth it.
