Can I get banned for using MuMu to play Diablo Immortal?

Will I get banned for using NetEase’s MuMu to play Diablo Immortal on Mac? I don’t have windows and really want to play the game on a bigger screen.

Since it’s a free game who cares, unless you’re planning on buying a bunch of power ups, in which case they will love you regardless.

PS I don’t play DI so take my suggestion with a grain of salt.

I am assuming MuMu is an emulator.

The primary rule you need to follow is “one click, one action”.

Yes MuMu is an Android Emulator. It has script function. But if I follow the rule and don’t use the bot is it safe to use it?

Generally speaking emulators don’t touch a game in any way. It is just the operating system allowing the game to run on a device.

However, Blizzard will never give permission to use anything they don’t make or control. Those outside software products can change at any time in ways Blizzard might not approve of.

Do your research and consider risks. ANY automation of any sort can put your account at risk.

EDIT

That sound risky. If they detect automation software running, even if you are not using it right that second, it can cause a ban. They won’t tell you what exactly will or won’t, that puts you at risk.

I would never use anything that could possibly trigger the automation detection.

Just boot into Windows or something and run it there. I think Macs have that ability right?

I don’t want to install Windows on my mac. They are not compatible. I hope Blizzard can implement Diablo Immortal for MacOS.

If you have an iPad it will run on that and it also runs very well on an iPhone, esp with a Backbone device to turn it into a handheld console.

I don’t have any of those, but a friend does and did a demo for me.

I would not hope for much. Blizzard has not been supporting MacOS for new games for many years now.

And all emulators I can find have script function.

Never heard of that happening in any mobile game I ever played. Unless you run scripts you should be good.

Hell, Mumu actually officially supports it, as I can see in their website. And it is NetEase’s emulator. So I imagine they won’t ban you for using their own emulator to play their game that they officially support there.

You can also try to run the windows client using Wine, I’m not sure if that works on Macs as well as it does on Linux though

It crashes… a lot… on any Apple device. At least 2-3 times doing anything, like talking to a merchant, opening a rift, going to a dungeon. You know, everything you need to do to play.

Funny how library in DI is filled with these and nothing has been done yet

That you know of, yet.

Not sure what it says about Blizzard, but they finally got around to doing some major ban waves in D2R. That game has been out since Sept … Not that they were not doing some banning, but the major stomping of popular programs had not happened until recently.

I don’t expect them to allow bots to run unchecked long term.

The ones I’ve seen remind me of the “bot” that I used to hold down the “fire” button in Eggs Inc.

That was just a touch pen, stand, and some weight.

It’s the Mobile version of a toothpick in the keyboard. (Or, it’s ye Ole NumLock trick)

It be funnier if Blizzard just moved them into a “no respawn” dimensionn.

Why are they not compatible? I used bootcamp to run windows on my Mac when I wanted to try out D:I, and when I played D2R. If you’re emulating via your Mac anyway then you probably have a machine that can cross boot.
