Hey everyone! InVersE here. I hope you’re all having a wonderful year.
Some years back, I posted a thread on Battle.net Support Site Feedback hashing out my thoughts on Classic Battle.net and how some of the most epic clans that i’ve ever had the privilege of knowing became a part of my childhood memories. Since then, life has happened to not only myself but also others that are very close to me. I’ve also noticed over the years since that post that there are quite a few discords that have been made to keep people together that grew up playing the same games, in the same clans during the same timeframe.
Earlier this year, JoYkiLLaH (for those who remember him) and I had a discussion about DarkExile and using it as the foundation of keeping everyone together under one network. For a while, I know he had attempted to do that with some help of others. After our discussion, he handed over darkexile dot com and asked me to take over and continue what he tried to do. About a month ago, I decided to start doing just that.
This is a roll call for all old school, as well as new blood. I have been dedicating time, effort and money set aside to not only get the Discord up and running (Discord doesn’t take much effort initially, but there are some things i’m doing to make it unique, and ours) but to also get our website up and fully functional. I see the website taking a little longer, only because I want the template to be carefully considered before anything else.
This network is going to be for everyone, old school as well as new. One network, for every clan that existed to game or war, and for every new person who wants to step in and be part of that history moving forward.
I have it up and running, but it’s not finished. By the end of the month, there will be a new banner, logo, and theme that will represent us as a whole, and i’m excited to present it to everyone when it’s finished.
