Introduction
This uses the support tools that are sort of general.
While adding extra toughness, the purpose is also to buff the damage output of other rifters.
This build has several variations. If there is one that appears better than what is here, suggestions are welcome.
Details
At peak output, it will provide 113% damage increase on an monster (without 85% oculus ring buff). Normally it will see 55%.
As for %DR, for allies it stands at 55% when monster and ally are inside the slow time sphere.
Gear basics
4 piece DMO
Block% such as Helm of Rule/Storm Shield
Damage reduction (Halo of Karini/Aquila Cuirass)
Damage+ (Strongarm Bracers/Oculus Ring)
opt. cubed CotP or RF bracers and Blood Brother for extra toughness
Strategy
Slow time
Fairly simple, but keep slow time up on the others when in mobs or at elites. Also make sure to have one up at any time to maintain personal %DR.Also, casting slow time after there’s a big mob can be important (instead of casting it before the mob collects). This tends to be irrelevant if a monk can pull the mobs in anyway.
Black Hole
A little more complex is to time Black Hole on netting elite projectiles versus using it as KB. Sometimes a BH can be dual purpose.Energy Twister
If using this skill, follow the tactics of monster collecting that stacks them up efficiently. Try to collect onto the elite group.Frost Nova
When the RG is active, it’s better to time this when the DPS is ready to hit.This applies during a rift as well, although it’s a little less important given the other skills require focus as well. In other words, it is useful when coupled with damage.
In Practice
As a test, this was run with 2 DPS and zBarb from 105 to 120 GR.
