I am simple not able to enter the door at the royal crypts. I tried to close the game then restart, but the issue is still there.

Looks like you did not complete one or several quests… or that it didn’t get registered.
Notice how your objective says “Descend through the cathedral”.
That’s supposed to change to “Give aid to the warrior” when you enter level 3 of the cathedral, and then to “Find the Warrior’s Stolen items” when you free him, then “Find and kill Jondar” and then “Join the Templar” and then “Search for the Royal Crypts” and then “Find the Crypt of the Skeleton King” when you reach the Royal Crypts (Cathedral Level 5).
To fix it… go back home, quit the game, change your quest to “4. Reign of the Black King” / “Begin quest”… and re-do all of the cathedral again without forgetting any of the quests.
I’m a bit puzzled on how you got to kill Jondar without freeing the templar… because of the obstacles in the stairs to the area where he is… but perhaps that’s part of the issue. Or perhaps you freed the templar, but somehow it didn’t get registered.
Either that or there’s something even earlier that you forgot… in which case, you may have to restart the campaign entirely.
