When dual wielding weapons as Monk, a second soul shard can be placed into an equipped weapon with an open socket. This allows a player to use two different weapon soul shards simultaneously. If the weapon is removed, it can’t be re-equipped. “You cannot equip more than one weapon socketed with a soul shard” is displayed. If the soul shard is removed, the second weapon can again be re-equipped, and the second soul shard placed into the open socket of the weapon.

Little Rogue + Remnant of Pain (left weapon)
In-geom + Dregs of Lies (right weapon)
Right weapon equipped w/ open socket and Dregs of Lies inserted successfully.
