I socketed a Flawless Royal Amethyst into a Broken Crown and put it on my follower (Enchantress). The crown drops an extra gem of the type socketed every time another gem drops, and it Emanates. Later, I switched it to a Flawless Royal Diamond. Despite this, I continued to get amethysts. That persisted even after I restarted the game and even after I reenechanted the Crown. Swapping to a different helm, playing for a while, and swappng back also did not fix it. This was on PS4 Pro.
If I understand you correctly, you’re changing the Gem in your Follower’s Helm?
What kind of Gem do you have in your Character’s Helm?
Emanates means YOUR CHARACTER gets the Power. That means the extra Gem that drops is the same type YOUR CHARACTER has equipped. (Not your Follower).
Even the Broken Crown Power description says:
- Whenever a gem drops, a gem of the type socketed into your helmet also drops. This effect does not apply to Legendary Gems. (Emanates)
An item that Emanates is the same as having an extra Cube Slot. Your Character gets the Power.
Your Follower only gets the Properties/Stats from the item. (But, NOT the Power).
If that is the case, this is NOT a bug.
