No, Gegeforce is not referring to a Thorns Necro, but simply converting Thorns as a DR item.
ie, Belt, Shield, Bracer, bootsā€¦ always roll higher Thorns than Armor. Just a Bracer alone can roll 3500 Thorns and if you convert that into +3500 armor, that in itself is equivalent to the armor rating on 5 gears. Therefore, if you can convert them into ā€œArmorā€ you get a very good source of ā€œDRā€

Honestly Iā€™d love a Bracer that decreases LoTd cooldown by 1 second with each kill. Kind of like the Messerschmitt legendary but it exclusively reduces LOTD cooldown.

Because letā€™s be honest : even using Flesh Golem, golem pants AND Moribund gloves im often running around like a headless chicken waiting for LoTd to come off cooldown . Iā€™m doing all i can to create corpses and its still not enough

And off hand that has enemies create two corpses instead of one one be nice too.

The thing is none of this would make the Necro OP. Hes just kind to helpless without corpses

We really donā€™t want any more reasons for every build to use LotD.

Having an item to reduce its cooldown when we can already make a permanent LotD, would just make builds that currently use it and have to wait for the cooldown way more powerful.

Imagine a pestilence elite hunter/rgk build where you had lotd up all the time? Youā€™d clear 120s in 2 minutes with lvl25 gems, it would be OP.

Thereā€™s a reason builds like that have to wait 90s for each cast, and Iā€™m ok with that (i actually like that playstyle).

Ideas:

Communion Armbands: Bone Spirit travels X% faster. Every enemy it passes through reduces damage you take by 4% for 20 seconds (can stack 10 times)

Bloodlust Bracelet: Blood Siphon applies Leech to enemies you hit and give you 2% Attack Speed and 2% damage reduction for every second spent channeling. (max 10 stacks)

Commanderā€™s Wraps: Command Skeleton attack X% faster and has a chance to reduce the cooldown of Army of the Dead by 1 second every time a skeleton deals damage.

Arm-band of the Summoner: You can control twice as many Revived monsters, and they trigger a free Corpse Explosion when they die.

Love your idea of Bloodlust Bracelet

Bonemarrow: attacking enemy with bone skills will hurt there Bone structure make them more Vulnerable for Physical damage .Each hit will increase the damage by 5% stack 6 times

Undeadmaster: useing bones skill will make u become more undead amplifying ur toughness by 15% for 30 secends

Huntingskulls: bone spirit now posset an enemy , double ur damage against him . Ufter the enemy die he will explod dealing the total damage to enemy around him

Serve in Death:
Killing an enemy with Bone Spear or Bone Spirit automatically casts revive on that enemy. Can proc up to 10 times per minute.

Agreed we need some good bracer options.
Even more so we need a way to move away from always having to build around LOTD.
So some kind of sustained corpse generation would be ideal

Alass, I dont recall a time Blizz used a meaningfully good idea from the forums.
