This a petition to Blizzard for the next patch, from an achievement hunter (most of you probably won’t care )
Long time ago, only the bounties you made count for the achievement. And also the achievement had way more digits in the bounty number (around 150k if I’m not wrong). This achievement has changed a lot now, but I think it’s still a huge time loss.
Since none cares about doing bounties (rewards are almost useless) and you find almost none in public games (or most of them are slow and afk), hunting 10,000 bounties is still an herculean task. It doesn’t matter how fast you go, because you mostly need to achieve this alone.
To sum up, I would like to suggest Blizzard to change this achievement in the next patch and reduce the number of bounties to 1,000 or less. Wish an admin can watch this post and reply to this topic.
No you don’t. They count just as much in a public bounties group and the bounties the group does, i.e. not just you personally, count towards the achievement. So, in a split group where you personally run 6-7 bounties, you’ll get 25 towards the achievement. So, for 10,000 bounties, divide that by 25 to get the number of full bounty runs, i.e. 400 full runs, where you do a quarter of the bounties in each run. So, 400 * 6-7 = 2400-2800 individual bounties. It’s meant to be a long-term goal, not something you can get in a week.
I recently achieved the lower tier version and am not looking forward to the day this one is reached as it will mean I have played way too much. But, I suppose, that too is a good thing as it will remind me to put the game aside and do something else…
Should be doable if someone wanted to no-life bounties for a week… 400 runs at 6 runs an hour in pub games is 67 hours to 10k. If you could get a good private group and do 10 runs an hour, that’d be 40 hours. 40-70 hours of straight bounties in a week? Sounds… fun…
I don’t find people playing bounties in public games. If I’m lucky, I might find 2 or 3 people every 2 hours or so; but they farm really really low and most of the times they are AFK… That achievement is not meant to be earned alone. You need 3 more guys farming as fast as you, and it’s not happening these days…
I’d like to have one more available achievement for 100k bounties. It was nice to follow the slow progress to 10k but that was over a long time ago for me.
I’m focused on the amount of time + the lack of players who play bounties these days. You all passed the achievement long time ago, probably when lobbies were full of players.
Softcore seasonal should have pretty much constant activity on T16. You shouldn’t have any real trouble finding a full group. Especially in the first month or so of a season. The activity will go taper down a bit by the end of the season but you should still be able to find a group on T16.
The only time you should really run into trouble is if you are trying to run below T16 or are playing Hardcore.
Just stick to the activity where most of the players are and you shouldn’t have too much trouble.
I ran around 4000 bounties worth of pub bounties this season and didn’t have any problems finding pub games on T16.

I’ve done 10k bounties worth of pub T16 bounties over the past 5 seasons, and that includes a few seasons where I didn’t play much.
10,000 bounties isnt that hard to do in a single season. it seemed like an impossible goal when bounties were released with adventure mode. i wish they had left the inflated numbers alone. when they nerfed the requirements i didnt like it at all. at the time i was nowhere near meeting the requirement but i figured it would be cool to try to hit all the insanely high goals over the next several years.
i have now done over 100,000 bounties since adventure mode was released. complaining about 10,000 is like a child asking their mother to bring them something when its literally only a couple feet from them.
