Do people bot on console?
I was hoping I could get away from botters but it wont matter for d4 since it’s crossplay.

On Diablo 3, no. Not because they can’t, rather, because there are cheats that make botting pointless. The Switch and PlayStation are broken beyond belief. The cleanest platform of any, including the PC, is the Xbox. But you still have to deal with minor cheating there as well.
I have to admit I was impressed with how much farther the mod makers managed botting and cheats on the consoles when it was pointed out on these forums…
I mean on the consoles, having three legendary gems per ring and per amulet without the game spitting the dummy must have taken some serious reverse engineering. Someone mentioned they managed it on the weapons as well a while back… I lost track after the first time when nobody did anything about it.
This stated, it is only in non-season not in season play.
As for whether it will happen in D4 if this is where you are heading, cheaters gotta cheat. Someone is bound to find some way to modify it in console and some clandestine hackers are bound to make bots.
It’s actually nothing new and was around last century in a different form.
As for whether it can be stopped, the only ones who can answer that are the Diablo IV developers.
You dont need to bot on console, you can just edit Non Season save data to what ever power you like.
You have just given BLIZZARD the answer. All they have to do is what UBISOFT does and keep the main current data copy on their servers and if does not match it will revert to server copy no matter how many times it is modified locally. ![]()
They don’t bot, they cheat with hex editors instead.
for D4 it will be so. BTW what will happen if ubisoft game will be launched without internet connection?
As for me console version is better D3. You also can decide which update to play. And if someone think that your favourite build needs to be nerfed it’s wrong. On consoles no bots but have editors. So if you wanna fun console is for you. But if you wanna compete D3 is not suitable for it at all.
It will be cracked. Considering trainers and cracks have been around for well over thirty years for games, any game that has solo (stand-alone) mode or does not require an internet connection will have some kind of crack.
