A question, although I konw that I will not get a definite answer. Is Blizzard planning another ban wave on bot in the game? It’s a lot bot in the game. For example I saw yesterday, paragon 5249 and only 90 hours game…

I could get that paragon in 90 hours but I never play that many in a season. Don’t fall into the same mindset as many here have that if you can’t do it, it’s botting. That or “high paragon automatically means they’re a bot”

No you couldnt, even if you were to only do 150s in an avg of 3 min (wich is not even possible on avg) it would take 188h, thats excluding the time to farm keys.
But the premise of the thread is all wrong, 5.2k is not that big this season, the 90h of play is very little and doesnt reflect the 5.2k, so maybe OP looked at the profile in the wrong way or didnt look at seasonal hours ,idk. And to answer OP will blizz do banwave in the game? Yes they will probably. Will it be this season? Nobody knows.

Yep, just had paragon 12 join my T16 bounty game. DH in starter gear. Probably doesn’t come as surprise that he was completely useless. I would’ve switched to local only but started feeling bad for paragon 1100+ monk player who was doing amazingly and didn’t want to waste his/her time.
If a seasonal character has clocked only 90h, it’s likely a fresh character created for this season. The high paragon can easily be explained if the player has (or had) multiple seasonal characters.
This is why it is crucial to check correct numbers regarding hours played. The hours clocked per character are useless, they tell nothing meaningful. Instead always check the season summary tab of the profile to see the hours played per class.

I agree that 90hrs solo for 5200 Paragons, which is 10hrs per day for 9 days seems steep to believe. I think that’s why so many people suggested to check the entire season.
If that is all it is, being 90hrs solo with no group play, then yes, something is fishy. Rarely is anything exactly what first impression, outside appearances indicate.
Well, it would take 94 hours of exclusively doing fully pooled, 4-man, GR150s in 3 minutes per run to go from Paragon 1 to 5200. So, if that 92 hours played was the total for the season, that includes any time spent levelling up, gearing up, bounties, nephalem rifts for GR keys, and so on so if you take off 10-15 hours for all the non-GR stuff, that’d mean they’d probably have to be doing GR150s in 2-2.5 minutes per run. Is that do’able this season?

Either the person is mistaken about the 90hrs, or the account in question was GR hopping.
I dont think OP specified he got to 5.2k in 9 days, s27 is like 70 days old? So that would be a little more than 1h/d of gametime. And 90h of solo would not be very fishy, havent checked Raxx for example, but i would guess its in the hundreds of solo play.
Dont forget the time needed to find those pools, and furthermore at lower para you use up more then 10 pools in a gr 150, so you couldnt even be fully pooled all the time.
