Hi, I wanted to ask something about this “Boon of the hoarder”, they say that this powerful gem is obtained from Greed the vault boss but they told me that it can also be obtained from the greater rift guardians so both have this gem? and can you get at any level of difficulty including normal? an answer and thanks!
You have to get your first one from Greed. After that, it can drop from GR bosses.

If im not mistaken, yes you can get it from both. Difficulty shouldn’t matter and i believe it drops from Greed the first time you kill him regardless of difficulty. I could be wrong on that though.

If you’re lucky to get Whimsydale or Not The Cow Level portal from killing a goblin outside Nephalem Rift, and clear it, the game may think that you’re eligible to get BotH from a Greater Rift Guardian. So it is possible to find it without having killing Greed first. Happened to me in S19.

Same thing happened to me, hadn’t even seen a puzzle ring or vault yet, but used a bovine bardiche in the cube, very next GR gave me a Boon of The Hoarder.
