Xyst1styx, you should already know that in order for bombs to be a viable contender, Akhan 6pc needs to have at least a 10,000% bonus. I am not talking about thorns bomb, just regular holy bombs or physical or Fire bombs.
Even with Akhan’s 6pc being buffed to 10,000% (pre-buff was 1.500% and post buff 3,000%), you would also need Mortal Drama and Belt of Trove to be buffed further. 500% on them just aint enough.
So, lets talk about LoD Bomb… LoD bombs cant use Norvald’s Fervor (+400% post-buff). Regardless how much elemental damage you stack on LoD, LoD version would still be weaker than 10,000% Akhan version due to Norvald’s Fervor.
Therefore, whether we nerf Mortal Drama and/or Belt of Trove, Holy-Physical-Fire Bombs will never be anything close to pre-nerf thorns bombs.
In summary, if you really want regular bombardments to do 145-150, you will need the following -
- 10,000% Akhan 6pc
- 1,000% Mortal Drama
- 1,000% Belt of Trove
- Pick Annihilate Rune Bombardment (always critical hits)
- Mix 6pc Akhan with Norvald’s Fervor, crimsons, CoE and Endless walk
- Stack fire %, attack speed, area damage and critical hit damage all on gear, Fully aug gear.
