Blue Cloud Effect?

Maybe this is the first time I’ve noticed this. What is this blue cloud effect on the screen? I think this is the first time I’ve seen this and it was so distracting. The cloud moves around the edges, varies in density. More importantly - can we turn it off?

You’ve gotten Orek’s Dream.

Orek’s Dream: Greater Rifts have a small chance to roll as Orek’s Dream. These dreamlike rifts have a curated list of maps and monster compositions.

As for whether you can turn off the visual effects or not? I don’t believe so, especially if you don’t see it in options.

That is OREK dream, a very rare map with one of best mobtypes and best maps.

Reading is overrated.

Fair enough. It was really distracting and an eye sore for a visual, though. Checking through the options, there doesn’t seem to be an option to disable the effect. Thanks for the answers. =)

Next time, leave the rift and speak to Orek to close it and start a new GR.

Maybe it will be a new achievement!
“Can you read the patch notes”

Lol for the season journey instead of the hated set dungeon.

If this was one of the season achievements it would be one of the most hated if:

You have to answer 10 questions from the patch notes.

If you miss more than three, the language of the patch notes changes to a Euro or Spanish dialect. (always changes from your personal mother tongue.)
If you miss 5 or more, the patch notes change to Base 60 where the first 26 numbers are “a - z” i.e. 1 = a, 2 = b and so on.
