A couple of segments about the art of Diablo in the schedule. And that’s it. Not very promising for the “leaks”.

This schedule can ABSOLUTELY, without any problems at all, deliver 3 new game announcements with that M A N Y B L A N K S.
Interesting - I don’t remember Blizzard having so many “Coming Soon” spots in their schedule before.
The floor map is also up, and Diablo is nowhere to be found except demos in the Arcade section.
One possibility is that Blizzard is giving the middle finger again to the Diablo fan base…but another is that they might have actually learned some lessons from the past and are trying to limit spoilers for major announcements.
Any other year, I’d go for the first possibility, but given all the circumstantial hints and leaks that have come out, I’m going with option #2. To me, Major Diablo announcement = likely.
Btw, the notice on the “Art of Diablo” section in Nov. 3rd is:
Come learn more from the development team about the art of Sanctuary.
Seems to me that this is kind of a hint that we are going to learn more about the new Diablo game art from ITS developers themselves.

This is shaping up to be quite the day as a Blizzard fan in general.
Last year some areas were hidden and were only actually shown after the blizzcon opened. Last year only on the day of the presentation was shown the area of ​​the immortal diablo
Typically it is one “coming soon” otherwise they just use the basic WoW update, Overwatch Update…etc…
The fact Diablo is not mentioned tells me two things.
1 - We are getting a major Diablo announcement, very likely two of them
2 - Along with D2HD, we are getting Diablo Next, but it is not D4, otherwise they would just say “Diablo update” rather than “coming soon”.
Starting to think the new game will be called Diablo - World of Sanctuary…not sure if they will make people happy or upset.
Depends on the game itself - Open world (instanced), City hubs for gathering of players, trading chat etc. Possible large scale multiplayer instances. Still good for solo players though - Arenas for various PVP types. Lots of microtransactions for cosmetic only, including various horses for mounted combat, donkeys for added stash space while on the road. Would be potentially ok by me (if the gameplay was epic also)
I call that World of Sanctuary or just Sanctuary (skip the WOW inference).

Are you sure? Do you know what the “Coming Soon” events are on November 1? I suspect if they are going to announce something, there not going to spoil it by labelling these “Diablo 4 Reveal”.
A lot of wishful thinkers here.
While it would be great if something good was revealed,
it is more likely that either nothing will be revealed,
or the reveal will be something that the majority of Diablo fans
don’t want.
Example; if they make a Diablo MMO, there will be many unhappy
people.
