It’s a bummer we can’t see each other in-person, but there is lots to talk about! Looking forward to everyone tuning in and joining in on the festivities.

This is amazing news. Props to Blizzard for doing this. I’m going to watch it on my phone.
Why haven’t Blizzard posted this info on their main page or in the news section? That would be my minor complaint.
With that said, I’ll be looking forward to BlizzConline. Hopefully there will be some more info regarding Diablo 4 and Immortal (no I have no intention of playing Immortal, however I know there’s an audience for it, and I no intention of ignoring their existance).

Making BlizzConline free is a smart move - that way you’ll receive way more feedback on Diablo 4.
I hope they make a longer public testing than D3 and work hard during it so we can have the game ready before it’s too late and it would feel outdated. A potential 2024/2025 release as some people advocating for a polished game desire would be the final nail in the coffin for the franchise.
In this video the only thing said was:
“We’re still working on Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4!”
And they are all working from home on these projects.
For an interesting twist, maybe they’ll complain about a lack of news about Immortal.
Feedback on what exactly? Another limited beta experience? There is no way that the game is ready for more than that next year, let alone a potential early open beta/release. Late 2022 is the very earliest D4 will get released, probably 2023. Come February, a bit more than 1 year will have passed since the announcement, a corona ridden year at that. If you expect them to hasten production during these times you have zero sense of what world you’re currently living in.
As have been discussed in previous threads, making it free was indeed the right decision.
