Blizzard Responded to Me - YouTube

I saw that video but didn’t actually watch it due to its length.

Any tldr version? What does Blizzard say anything significant or just regular “lol thanks and cya”?

They admitted to “missing” the mark on a couple of issues.

They didn’t say they will fix it though.

Remember the Amazon in D2R. Where they said they listened that many fans do not like the “new look” & will be looked at it.

Then release with no change & double down with the “We wanted our heroes not to look like they just came out of nightclub” (paraphrasing)

Yep, probably their normal “damage control”, say they hear us etc… then nothing.

So Wyatt Cheng reached out to Raxx.

He must’ve said, 'Ok, dude, say something nice about us. I promise it won’t be an April Fool’s Joke.

Wyatt actually admitted fault on some of the things Raxx had commented about.
He also absolutely wants Raxx to beta test Diablo IV and give the same level of feedback.

Stop letting your anti-Immortal vitriol colour everything you’re posting lately.

I can tell you one thing about LA as capped F2P - they think for the game long term. Also, having a huge market and economy may sometimes look like they are only after the real money of folks, but that’s not it. They know very well they should not push their F2P out of the game.

As for DI I have no clue - it’s a complete disgrace to Diablo franchise that I personally won’t ever try or recommend to anyone. In fact I told my whole guild in LA to not ever try or play DI since it’s predatory.

You still trust Wyatt?

I don’t.

That guy is ruining the franchise.

I am happy he is not on D4 team, & hope it stays this way.

Can I get a list of those things. Please?

I want Wyatt to come out publicly and admitted fault. Last time I checked, he adamantly defended whatever he did for Immortal on Twitter.

Oh…this park is on a completely different planet.

In this day and age it takes a big person to apologize, unfortunately. That guy won’t apologize for anything, trust me.

Wyatt is following orders. I have no idea what you want from that guy. He is there to do the job that is strictly constrained by the monetization models. He can either do it or you know, find another job or make his own studio and game.

And therefore he is even more culpable than those giving the orders. Actions weigh heavier than words. That is why soldier in war must suffer a lifetime of nightmares and trauma if they have acted immorally, no matter where the order came from. All order-givers knows this, it’s a natural law, and it is everyones responsibilty to educate themselves.

The biggest issue why Rax quits(normalizing pvp) is not addressed at all in that video.

When that BlizzCon fiasco came out, Blizzard actually came out to appologize, “we screwed up. here, we will make a D4.”

Three years later, they gave us the exact thing they that tanked Blizzard years ago and even made it worse - a p2w diablo mobile game.

Raxx seems too quick to believe that Blizzard will improve.
Almost like his income depends on it.

I have never really watched any of his videos before, but he does seem like a nice, sensible person at least. just maybe dont drink the Kool-Aid.

Yep, that is the only thing this is.

Which would be the better decision.

Not more culpable. But he is part of it for sure.
“Following orders” srue isn’t that much of an excuse.

Not sure about that. I supported his twitch channel because he quit Diablo Immortal.
