So my wife and I logged in last night a d seen the season 22 started and were like Great! Did the normal things for leveling easily by running the weekly challenge rift and so in. Leveled to 40 and went to bed.
Woke up this morning to find that it was an accident and all of our work was gone and now being told that the challenge rift won’t be available to us because we did it already. This is not fair and is going to ruin our leveling experience.
Blizzard needs to fix this!
Agree totally. Reset the challeng rift. Don’t punish the players for Blizzards screw up!
Yes, a reset on all 3 Console platforms of the Challenge Rift is surely required otherwise actual Friday S22 start is going to be a pain for those that did the CR yesterday when the S22 was accidentally active.
Ya, we are not happy right now as we had a weekend planned for playing. If it doesn’t get reset, we won’t be playing till next week. Been playing to long to know how not fun it is without having cache to support leveling.
Agree on this. What’s the overall harm of console players having one extra challenge cache for non seasonal, so they can have a proper season start, especially since it wasn’t their fault.
With previous track records on season starts for the console, it doesn’t surprise me that many people would think that yesterday would have been just par for the course.
Boo Hoo. You know when the Season starts. You screwed up. Get over it. If Blizzard did not reset the challenge rift for everyone the week they skipped it, they are not going to reset it.
Its Blizzard Dalamar, anything can happen and yes, people made the mistake thinking that a season was released early. Regardless what you say or think, that is a HUGE PROBLEM/mistake on their part that will affect game play for a lot of people. Maybe you should move out of who’s ever basement and grow up. It’s a game. Fix it, don’t fix it. It’s a game not life. Maybe tone it down a bit and stop acting like some pre-madonna to people you don’t know.
It could be interesting when everyone who started season already just can continue on “real” season start, no reset just some players who have already PXXX. Then everyone wants a reset who didn’t started yesterday.
So yes, just reset CR and reset all pre-season progress of players already started.
But this won’t happen… maybe we get at least on blue post here…just ONE
Quite possibly you didn’t read the OP. On the console there was indication that the season had started. I don’t see Blizz resetting anything on this, but your attitude is quite bad and demonstrates ignorance of what happened.
I’m so glad I’ve been into AC Valhalla lately I didn’t even see the nonsense that has gone on

Then again I pay attention so I also knew it started Friday. I feel bad for you peeps that used that CR cause I doubt they’ll give it to you.
If your super duper lucky who knows mabye that character will still become seasonal?
My character still says its seasonal and my paragon. If its true, then I will be carrying people in GR85-90 at start of season. I’m good either way of not getting challenge rift, since I will just start a barb with my group.
Worst case scenario no challenge bag.
Best case scenario we keep our progress.

Oh I read the OP. I know exactly what happened. It does not excuse the fact that the Season has always started on a Friday and always will. People thought they were getting a leg up on things. There is no ignorance here. Get over yourself.

I would never play D3 or PoE on console as I always play PC D3.

So play what you want, but know that S22 starts this Friday and not a day before.
No, because I also read when the season is set to start, so I didn’t try to get it early. I’m waiting for the scheduled release date, therefore I didn’t waste my Challenge Rift. This statement attempts to claim that wasting the rift by exploiting an accidental early start is absolutely inevitable. It is not.
They won’t reset them for people who essentially tried to cheat by exploiting an accidental season start, especially when the start date has been published for quite some time.
It’s Blizzard’s fault that the season was accidentally enabled early, but it’s also the players’ fault for trying to exploit that accident for early gain. They had a choice to make, same as I did. I chose to wait. They did not.
Lol Blizzard isn’t going to reset anything for anyone. Sorry you guys, but you can level up just fine with out the rifts bounty. Takes longer, but lots of people do it that way. Challenge rifts come out Monday nights, season starts on Fridays. You could clone level and get there and not need the bag too. There’s guides to show how to do it, and it was done without even getting cube, was all done in 45 mins. So you still have options. Chin up, this seasons gonna be great. Sorry you’re gonna get a longer start

so we suffer a slow start because they opened up the season early … thats not how it should work… should be a fair start just as you get … just make a new challenge tommorow … fix the characters that are ahead and do whats right if not your going to have chars doing level 80 grs and higher before it starts I promise because I know a few
