Blizzard - please have extra login queue capacity

I hope you learned from all the years having a 386 or 486 cpu based server will not be enough to handle the load of people trying to click “play” at 9am pdt…

let use pre-login before 9pdt and just get past that horrible hurdle that awaits us

Ahahahaha yeah actually many years ago i forgot what private server I played on for abit but the queue to sign in was always hours long and they offered something like this pay $10 to skip the queue and I instantly did that. But it was $10 for life long skipping hahhah

life is too short to sit in a queue

We need to be realistic here. Would you buy the hardware necessary to handke peak number of users? Many od them will play first 10 days only. Would you do that if you knew that this number will be 2 times lower after first 10 days?

Buying hardware for peak number of users and first 10 days is waste of money.

So yes we should expect ques.

theyve gotten so bad, you cant even play hardcore on other blizzard games when they do these releases because they pull from the other game servers.

Good thing is that at this day and age we have could based on demand virtual platforms - servers that can offer power that scales with demand.

i just dont want to die. i’m literally top 50 hc right now.

They don’t buy hardware. They rent it from one of Amazon, Microsoft or Google. So no, I don’t think expecting ques is reasonable for a $100 game. They know that they’ll need more servers in the first month so plan for that.

The only reason there are que times is because the only goal of a corporation is to increase profits and having extra capacity during launch days is counter productive to profitability. Stop accepting mediocrity.

If it’ll allow me to cancel my pre-order after beta, I’m 100% going to take advantage of that. I’ve been fleeced by Blizzard enough times to trust them

So this persona just makes up things to be mad about?

Which one do we get after your next vacation or after the game launch? I assume we move back to the fanboy, but i have trouble keeping up since you’ve moved to alts for your trolling.

i dont even think of you at all.

Your desperate need for attention says otherwise.

it’s true.

Well I’m mean you can rent server time for queue processing without buying the hardware. I don’t think that is unreasonable knowing the traffic you WILL get. How many people return the game when there’s a 100k queue or 30 minutes login wait. I’m good with priority queuing for better package purchases… course I wasted money on the fancy one so I’ll take any perks I can get.

They could plan ahead and do everything logistically possible and we will STILL have an issue.

Just accept that issues are possible and deal. Being its beta, its going to be even MORE likely than the actual launch.

They can prep all they want there will still be some type of server related issue, maybe not on the beta but bet on it on launch.

Launch is probably a better chance for issues because they can try and simulate the estimated server load on launch day but they will still have issues.

what happens when too many sign up and it becomes it’s own queue?

oh you know what happens. the ol’ faster than fast queue pass $9.99 “with less ads”

So because you have been fleeced a lot, you trust them?

That doesn’t make much sense. lol

No I don’t trust them which is why I’m going to try and refund my order after the beta
