Hi, I just want to check that it’s possible to get the Nova effect when re-rolling this weapon in the cube, recipe #2? I’ve tried like multiple times. Or do you have to wait for it to drop?
According to Maxroll Ethereal Weapons can roll 2-Handed Legendary Powers onto 1-Handed Weapons. Like the Blackbog’s Sharp.
One of those Powers is from the Bloodtide Blade: Death Nova deals 94% increased damage for every enemy within 25 yards, up to 25 enemies. (Necromancer Only) [80 - 100]%. If that’s what you’re talking about.
Each time you Reforge an Ethereal Weapon it will roll with a random Legendary Power and a random Passive Skill. Since the Bloodtide Blade Power is one that can roll on the Blackbog’s Sharp, then there should be a chance to Reforge it onto yours.
Note: I should mention that I’m not familiar with the Necromancer Class. So, you can take this post “with a grain of salt”.

yes, it is possible. Both via reforge and also the primal recipe.
