So, it doesn’t matter where you store it or if you already taught to Haedrig the Blacksmith. The Plan: Staff of Herding is just like all the other Staff components: You can pickup multiple copies of them.

I’ve had no problem getting all the parts for the Altar.

Just stick with it and use Maxroll for finding items you have a hard time dropping for you.

Thanks, but, no, I wasn’t farming other levels; I was always on Cathedral Act 1. Before they improved the GGs drop rate, I got that mushroom quickly. After that, it seemed to take longer.

Concerning your point about the GG, yes, I could see that. It makes a certain sense that they might increase the drop-rate for something difficult while at the same time making something more readily obtained more difficult to balance things out. (Can’t be having people not used to grinding!) :wink:
