Oh? And pray tell, what exactly did you contribute by posting something that had nothing to do with the topic in a thread you aren’t even participating in? It’s very arguable that it’s you who posted to simply elicit a response.
By the way, nice ninja edits. Too bad you weren’t quick enough on the insult removal. Better luck next time.
Really? You cannot be serious. You constantly call us fanboys. Which is trolling and against the forum rules. You posted multiple times about D3 where it is clear you did not understand stand how the game works yet post as if you have supreme knowledge. Then you get called out on in and play the victim.
I thought it work pretty well for mobile ARPG or MMORPG that I played where the endgame is upgrading your gear to +10 or higher. If I not mistaken, in FF14, your gear can upgraded up to level 400.
Really? You cannot be serious. You constantly call us fanboys. Which is trolling and against the forum rules. You posted multiple times about D3 And **By That Standard YOU People? Also FIT ** Since you as a group call us fanboys! And there’s a Descriptive Word that as such defines you that word is Hypocrite Since your constantly calling us D2 Fanboys
As of last we know they have attack n defense on items. So Blizz seems to be going in opposite direction of adding depth and thought for players to make on items. Still early in but complexity is not a word blizz uses to atm.
My point was they took main stats off items Which I’m sure you were well aware of. I prefer a deeper game that require a little thought n planning. I’m not 10
I’m sorry you get offended by saying you people. I say that so the person I’m quoting understands I’m not specifically pointing to them as they specifically may not be the one but D2 faithful in general. Just because you read some thing that isn’t there doesn’t make me a hypocrite.
I have, and stated many times, that I have 0 issues with people preferring 1 game over another. I have stated my preferences. What happens more often than not is you guys are dismissive, rude, and often resort to childish behaviors because of some notion that if people like D3 that means your love for D2 is invalidated.
I have never claimed to have a vast knowledge of all they systems and intricacies of D2 and thus don’t talk about them and welcome the insight into stuff I may not have known. The guy I quoted offers opinions about D3 as if he knows everything but didn’t know he could keep upgrading gems because the system defaults to the new gem you just received, and rightfully gets corrected. Then has the gall to play victim. I say thank you for informing me.
So take your hypocrisy card and put it back into your pocket.
Well sometimes it does example say one item show the green checks but another has 30%faster movement speed. Green checks will not always be better. Also I might have a piece of gear I am barely over to equip. Main stats do matter. And players should choose how they want to play not be forced to like in D3 everyone using same set. But I just hope it is a good game. Looks great but from pre alpha look for me needs to be more in depth. Plus how is crafting working. A lot of unknowns at this point
Well, d3 had the main stats
If you want real decisionmaking, you need independent stats like in D2
But as I said, a lot of different affixes will let you think about which item is better for your build
Experienced D3 players don’t use green/red arrow to dictate the item usage for their character.
My summoner necro is using the similar items with another summoner necro in D2. The same goes for my D2 Sorc.
My HoTS hero is using similar talent build with other players who are using the same hero as I did. The same goes for the hero build for other MOBA game in high-level play.
Most Starcraft pros are using the same/similar opening and timing attack as other players when they are playing the same race in high-level play.
So I don’t know why do you think only D3 did that when even the mobile arpg and JRPG game that I am playing were using similar build and strategy against powerful bosses in the late game.
I never said or thought only Diablo3 did that. Only thing i said bout D3 is everyone is forced into using sets. I like options cause some items might be hard to get or take a long time and it should. No one I dont think wants all end game items right away. But going with legendaries or hopefully crafted items being top tier can give players options
There is nothing in D3 that requires anyone to use a specific build. Yes not all builds are necessarily equal, but the game should not be about reaching GR200…it should be about enjoying the game playing with your chosen build. The game is about having fun and entertainment. If all sets and configurations performed exactly the same…any game would get boring really fast. Note I don’t give a crap about the leaderboard, I only care about doing better than I did n the previous season and trying out something new.

Variety in maps and constantly increasing difficulty. No one is claiming D3 endgame is vastly greater than D2s, just that it’s a bit better because there is slightly more variery.
