Big Info: release date, special editions, early access!

Correct some people do not think outside of the box before they start with the crying.

Well we will not have regions. So… seson will start in an unreasonable day and time for many people. Unless Blizz figures out a time and day that would mostly benefit the majority of players.

Fixed it for ya champ!

Nope, its season 28 for D3 to wait for D4 launch

Why controversial?

This isn’t like early access to season 1…
It is early access to non season.
The one mode no one seems to care about, ever…

When season starts, every one will have had the chance to buy the game, either before or after the release.

Or when you are in a rush, every traffic light is red.

That’s more true when you rush because you have to poop.

They are always red, always. Worked evenings for a while, got home at around 3 in the morning, and the red light next to where I live had me stand there for 5 mins every friggin night. I never once saw another car. (Well, it was red every night, after the first two nights I started to ignore it.)

So no Pet, Banner, cosemtics for D3, OW 2?

Release is for all intents and purposes season 1.

What is 20 tier skips mean?

It sounds like you start on tier 20 or 21 of the battle pass instead of tier 1.

Strange, why do they list them as PS4/PS5? Where is my Xbox Ultimate version?

Probably just a pet or a mount.

Uh oh. Speaking of big info.
Deja vu?
As said before, the game should just be delayed.

“You could tell that they weren’t very confident,” a former Blizzard employee told the Post. "There wasn’t a lot of vision for the game. They were changing their minds a lot, sometimes without even giving things a fair shot, like over the weekend. This started to really slowly start to burn people out."

Yeah, that was quite obvious even from the outside…

In order to meet its latest release target, Activision Blizzard is said to be incentivising longer working hours among employees by promising perks some describe as “paltry”, including profit-sharing to covering meals. Activision Blizzard, for its part, told the Post, “Overtime is voluntary and limited to specific teams”.

:unamused:

Activision eventually move to bring Vicarious Visions, now known as Blizzard Albany, onto the project, but the process of merging the teams is said to have been “bumpy”, given the latter’s relative inexperience with Diablo and the “few plans” in place to integrate the two.

“At a certain point, throwing bodies at the problem does not solve the problem,” one current Blizzard Albany employee told The Washington Post. “If you add them late enough in the project, it doesn’t matter that you hired an entire studio, because they’ll never be up to date in time to help on the shipping game.”

You want to know real life?

I worked at SLC-6 back in 1981 to 1986, that’s Space Launch Complex 6 (West Cost Space Shuttle). Some news report that had Gov. Inspectors (who were hardly ever around) came on a major news program (with disguised voices behind a blurred out face) and stated the wiring to the Space shuttle was so messed up they ought to bulldoze down the whole launch site!
However I was there, about 15 230 volt and a number of other power power outlets were phased incorrectly by the Core of Engineers contractor. That’s why we as the prime contractor test every little thing and rewired them correctly. It was a gigantic over exaggeration to say the least for a routine screen-able by test item.

This is why I’m super skeptical about stories like this!

Being able to play 4 days earlier isn’t controversial.
