I would hazard a very healthy guess that all of the big streamers are, and have been, cheating. Consistently, for years.
I know many people who are 8k+ by now that don’t bot and don’t even use turbo hud. Lots of players are simply after paragon and when you spend more than 10 seconds in town on average after each gr you’re losing a lot of xp over a 4-8(+) hour session. We are in berserker mode because we want to get as much xp per hour as possible. Just stash items you may want and identify them after the session is over. Town is lava man
How do you know that these players are not cheating? I am not saying they are, but have you looked at their hours played in S28. In S27, the 20 or so extreme hour accounts that I identified were all banned by Blizzard.
hey kid, I’m not a maniac neither a boter, so slow down.
because i talk to the ppl im referencing daily. There are still extreme hour accounts that dont get hit by banwaves too lol…Lots of these high gon accounts will absolutely blast for half of the season and then stop playing entirely after they’ve hit their paragon goal and gotten a decent 150 time. Lots of them bot, but lots don’t bot. (at least not on their main account)
To your point, yes, there are plenty out there who bot and plenty who do not. The problem is when you get those crazy internet sleuths who think in their minds that they’re successful detectives when in reality, they’re just witch hunters.
There are some people who love to pretend they got people banned when in reality, all they did were report anyone who played for what they personally thought was a long time or different from them. Out of all the people they sat around playing internet sleuth and reporting, 1 or 2 of them actually get removed from the boards and like to think they are the sole reason it happened when it was a conglomeration of people reporting. They love telling people “I got them guys banned!” as if admitting you’re one of “those guys” is something to be proud of? Then you have the other 1000+ people they falsely accused who are still on the boards.
Just ignore them like I did. Blocking degenerates makes the forums much less cumbersome. I’ll bet money one will try replying to me knowing good and well they’re blocked, so they’re basically shouting in the wind.
I am simply commenting on the ~20 accounts that I identified in a prior season. All the extreme hour accounts that I identified were banned. No exceptions and no false accusations. As D3 time played per day over months gets into the extreme range, the odds of being legitimate decreases.
Are there extreme hour cheater accounts historically that avoid ban waves? Yes; however, many of these accounts or the cheater’s alts are eventually caught. For season 27, several folks apparently had 2 accounts banned due to the fact that S27 had an early and late season ban waves.
It seems that there has been a banwave in EU. Blizz did this yesterday. Wasnt this day a holiday (memorial day) in USA? Was there a banwave in America region too?
Saw too.
Wondered why i am suddenly in Sorcranking and looked
to 4pl.
Yesterday i missed soloranking for 2 seconds. Now i am in
at around 800. Must be much players …
Just think… you will get this same quality customer service experience on the next iteration of the series.
Seems quite a lot of space was done to leaderboards. Checking from Blizzard ranking web page, only the 6th 4p clear at EU has any damage dealer left in the list.
Good to see some actions!
A banwave also happened in the America region server. I have not been watching as closely this season. I did notice that someone’s S27 bounty bot that became their S28 main was recently banned. Their S27 main account was banned towards the end of S27.
