In the top 2 teams on the EU, Season 27, 4-man leaderboard, three of the Necromancers in those teams have an average of around 21 hours played per day for the entire four and a half months of the season.

Can you comprehend why people think they’re incredibly likely to be cheating (botting and/or account sharing) based on the fact that almost no human on the planet can exist on under 3 hours sleep for months on end?

Only a tiny fraction of a percentage of the population can survive on such little sleep. What a coincidence that not only do lots of that tiny fraction of humans also play Diablo III but they’re also top of the leaderboards!

The account that MicroRNA mentioned had averaged over 21.5 hours per day for four months straight. Sure, there’s a technical possibility that this is a single parent/guardian and their single minor child/ward, splitting that amount of hours between them. However, it’s a damned sight more likely that it’s multiple adults account-sharing and/or botting. That’s why the high play time isn’t the cause for a ban, it’s cause for investigation into whether it should be banned.

No-one is asserting that an account that is being played for 18+ hours a day for weeks / months / years on end is account sharing and/or botting, but it sure does look like an account that is and therefore probably is. That’s why it should be investigated to see if it’s actually a duck…

1. The account has been played for an average of 21.5+ hours a day
2. The account has been played that way for weeks / months / years

Reporting them isn’t diagnosing them as a cheater, it’s reporting them because they have exactly the sort of symptoms that a cheater would have, and asking someone to carry out a diagnosis.

No, they’re claiming that an account played for 21.5+ hours per day, for months on end, is likely to be account sharing and/or botting and should be investigated to confirm if this is the case.

Whereas I’m perfectly happy to state that I think it’s way more probable that multiple adults are account sharing and/or botting, than a parent + minor child are sharing an account for 21.5+ hours a day, for months on end. Especially when you see the number of accounts that are doing this. I just don’t believe there are that many (if any) parent/child combos doing this.

I don’t think anyone said it’s impossible for all of these accounts to belong to parent/child combos.
However, they have said it’s improbable and it’s more likely that they’re just cheats…

Why are you so dishonest?

You’ve repeatedly claimed that I, and others, have said it’s impossible they’re not cheating and yet, when challenged, you can never find a single instance of me having done so, which you could quote and prove I’d done so.
