Bandit Shrine in Echo Question (Lag fixed?)

Does anyone know if the lag is fixed with bandit shrines in the echoes? I haven’t played for a while and probably going to play this season.

Last time I tried that in the Echoes I remember it lagged, so my answer would be a no. There are so many monsters going at the screen and by touching a Bandit Shrine you add more to that, which server has to track your Overwhelm gauge dynamically. Appears it’s too much.

So I guess it’s another season of skipping bandit shrines in echoes.

A reasonable fix could be if the shrine spawned at the end, after you claim your reward. For the sake of performance.

Well, there’s really not much reason to keep going past 125 beside the pylon, don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those spawn under 135.

They do. Back when my group ran ENs, we always stopped at 125. We had goblin shrines spawn about half the time, maybe slightly less.

Had 2 just yesterday at 127 and 128.

This season when the Altar pet DEs all those blues and yellows… Yeah, I think there’s reason in the first week or so. Thats alot of mats your leaving on the table for the extra 20s it takes to spawn them…

Yeah, which is why I said the only reason to go above 125 would be for the pylon.

Guess RNG just hates me then, unless it’s somehow time based when they spawn?

I’ve had bandit shrines spawn in the upper 120’s, finished the Echo at 138 and have never, EVER killed a Goblin, or so it seems.

At least I’ve never seen any loot on the ground.

Does that mean they were not killed or do they not drop loot in Echoes?

This.

They drop loot when killed.

At very high Echo levels goblins are also hard to kill and if it expires before you can kill them they poof.

If you actually want to get the shrine and kill the goblins, ideally you delay taking the Conduit for a bit so that you still have the Conduit up when the shrine spawns, and the Conduit will zap the goblins for you.
