People need to learn the difference between gameplay and Core mechanics
Gameplay can be change and the game will be the same but with different flavour
When Core mechanic changed, that is what changes the game
Diablo 2 has a strong core mechanic that makes it what it is, changes to items and skills won’t change what makes D2
People in PD2 and POD are still playing Diablo 2, don’t gatekeep the games identity behind nostalgia and purity
