Great feature you have there Blizz, in a middle of GR game in pub and auto log out. I just wanna smack the head of whoever encoded this feature.
An “auto-logout” is almost always a connection failure. Whether that’s on your end of Blizzard’s end, the result is the same. If it’s happening repeatedly, you need to check your equipment and/or at least power cycle all of the components in your network chain.
I could be wrong but it sounds like you were kicked from the group. Or there was a DC.

No. I wasn’t disconnected. And no, I wasn’t kicked as I was the only DPS in that group and the GR was almost done ~ 80% at 115. A pop up showed while in action. The game didn’t freeze or anything like being disconnected. I had to log in again asap and luckily no one else joined.
And no, I didn’t have internet issues as I was online during the logging out by alt tabbing and opening a browser.
It’s just annoying other than anything else.
Just because you were online elsewhere OK doesn’t mean you were online to Blizzard OK. And I’d be interested in seeing/knowing what that popup said. As I stated before, you’re usually only kicked out of a game like that if there is an issue with the connection.
Fun fact: You can have a perfectly sound connection to endpoint A, and have a spotty connection to endpoint B, both at the same time.

Happened to me sometime and i have perfect connection too.

Happens once and a great while to me too. I sometimes go look at the weather map (nexrad) since I’m in Florida and sometimes I see a great big storm between me and Blizzard. I always blame it on that!

Happened to me last night, server dropped the connection as I was trying to portal back to town to turn in a set of bounties.
Tyrael, Archangel of Thievery, refuses to give me the cache I earned.
