Augmenting failed

i have been augmenting my items but now it says transmute failed is it a bug or technical issue or augmenting an item has a limit?

You did not provide any details regarding the item you tried to augment.

The item has to be a level 70 ancient legendary (or primal ancient, or sanctified).

Also, you can only use rubies, amethysts, topazes or emeralds (meaning, everything but diamonds) to augment an item.

hi mickey im augmenting ancient set item so far i did 4 using whisper of atonement and my 5th item it wont augment anymore it says transmute failed. does it have limitation / bug / technical issue?

Check if the item has a level reducing secondary affix - I do not know if this matters for augmenting, though.

As mickeyknox said, without more information, it’s difficult to help you.
But to my knowledge, there are no limitations/bugs/technical issues.

I see 5 augmented items. (Unless you have another Account that you’re playing on). The only item I cannot see is your Off-Hand (Sanctified?) item. None of your items, that I can see, have Reduced Level Requirement. (They all say “Required level: 70”).

However, Reduced Level Requirement is irrelevant, so this should not be a problem:

If you’re still having an issue: Are you remembering to use 3 Flawless Royal Emeralds?

I also notice that your lowest, current Augment is from a Rank 94 Gem. So, I’m assuming that any failed attempt was with a Gem Rank higher than 50.

If you still have issues with this, you might want to post a screenshot. Include the error message with the Cube and your Inventory open.
