I’m playing Necro, this season. Also, I’m a bit late to the party. At what paragon level does one switch, ideally, from Guardian’s to Augild’s?

There’s no exact level where the switch becomes viable. Basically when your total main stat loss from giving up Guardian’s is less than 30%.

I had the same problem back in season 28 when I played Tal’s Meteor. From that perspective the damage was not the main issue. Biggest problem was by far the toughness loss. When I swapped from Guardians to Aughilds I had to learn how to properly play Tal’s instead of just brainlessly facetank everything. But wizzard has very good shielding while necro doesn’t.
So I would suggest swapping those sets and testing if you can survive without Guardians. If so, drop them. If not, stick to them. Toughness lost is HUGE. Back then I swapped at 1,6k paragons but as I mentioned it was with Tal’s and I was able to survive through shields and kiting. For a necro I’d suggest at least 2k gons with almost perfect and augmented gear.
