I tried swapping between 2 saved sets, in one I had the crafted primal in the MH slot and in the other in the OH slot - the second crafted primal refused to switch and I had to manually switch it.
Unfortunately this is how the armory works. It switches one item at a time, not all off then all on. So if the crafted primal is still equipped when it tries to equip the new one it won’t / can’t do it.
