Armory Needs Paragon Allocation

Switching Paragon was already an issue for players swapping between Z builds and Damage builds. Now with the changes to how points can be allocated, I see changing the paragon points for nearly every type of build a possibility.

Here are some examples:

Core: Move speed for speed builds, Vit for Z builds, Main Stat for Damage builds.

Offense: Depending on Crit chance on items and skills the balance between crit damage and crit chance varies. Barb HOTA can achieve max crit without allocating crit chance by maxing fury. Other builds suffer from CD that can’t use Obsideon Ring and may need max CD instead of Crit (Frenzy).

Defense: not much will change, though a different balance of allocations based upon stats on items could make for minor changes to max toughness.

Utility: Resource cost reduction for Crimson Set builds and Area damage for other damage builds. Pickup radius and life per hit for Z Builds.

Side note: In all, I see classes that can use crimson and guardians (Wizard) will continue to dominate even further with the ability to add even more points to CD and RCR before diminishing returns impacts them. Additionally, guardians is essentially a required set given that paragon leveling is capped at 800 so diminishing returns for guardians is significantly reduced.

this would be fantastic. the problem I see is the armory is sooooooooo buggy they will never be able to get it into an acceptable working state in time

I agree that it would be a great QoL thing to add as someone who has to switch between DH and zDH depending on what I’m doing. Fixing the bugs that are already a problem with the armory would also be amazing QoL improvements.

I personally keep separate toons for my Zs to circumvent the armory issues. also 'cause zs usually want different specs on their gear and augs, I feel like it’s cleaner

Probably a better idea than hoping the armory will actually do it’s job and save the right gear, etc.
