Armory inspection crashes game

When i click on the eye to inspect what is saved in the armory set it crashes my game.

Ha, I just wanted to make a thread about the exact same issue.

Yes, I can confirm, this also happens to me.

Looking through the individual saved builds in the tabs in the armory does not crash it, but once you inspect a build, the game crashes.

Also came here to report this issue, as soon as I click the eye, I get a CTD.

Edit: more specifically - no matter if it’s a saved set from an older patch, or a new save, it still crashes.

Same issue here, immediately crashes. Was playing WD, inspecting the Helltooth set.

If you go back to the duplicate thread you created, underneath your opening post there’s a little blue trashcan icon. If you click that, you can delete your own thread.

Same. Details button in the Armory is instant CTD. Playing on Win7 64-bit with 64-bit Battlenet client.

And if Blizzard wants me to continue messing about in PTR, then I suggest they hotfix this. I ain’t playing while I have to rearrange my character load outs manually.

I had the same issue yesterday with the Armory. The build I wanted to change to had items in the mail from the end of S21.
After I pulled all possible items from the mail, I was able to successfully view and swap the build.
Not yet tested if this is the only reason for the crashes.
Edit: Seems the crash also happens without items in the mail, not sure what causes it. Was able to swap to a different build just fine. Maybe I had the other items on character inventory and the other build was with items in stash.

I have no issues changing between different armory setups (items in stash or character inventory). Also no issues swapping when having 1 item missing on a different character or dropped on the ground > slot stays empty with a warning before.
However, whenever I try to press the Details button, the game crashes to Desktop. Doesn’t matter if the saved build is intact or has item(s) missing, even the currently equipped build fails to show and crashes.

Same issue here. Can go through the builds in the armory and equip, but if I inspect the build, crashola.

Rhykker brought up an interesting point. It may have to do with the 4th cube slot, that needs to be showing on the armory once season is live.
