So the Arcane Orbs cast by mirror images are buffed accordingly with Arcane Orb legendaries, but this is not true for the arcane orbs cast by arcane hydra. Would be fun if they had a little love

I mean the orbs form the arcane hydras are from the hydra skill, why would the get buffs from the Arcane Orb skill? Arcane hydras already has a huge set of bonuses available to them, so if you want play with arcane hydras, there are strong builds for those with the typhon set. If they were to get bonuses from the arcane orb pieces as well, it’d be like a 15x damage buff with triumvirate and unstable scepter. It’d be stronger than S25 fire monks. 
Yeah, I was just being hopeful/ silly. Mirror image AOs are buffed by the AO legendaries though. As are the haunt of Vaxo AOs. So I thought maybe….

Either way, both hydra and arcane orb have pretty strong builds around them, so both are very playable into high GR (and both are good for speed runs as well), but you can only gear for one or the other. And both builds are strongest with the cold rune on the skills, but I guess the arcane runes should be pretty close behind.
It’s because MIs mimic you. They use your skills, whit the multipliers. Hydras are a seperate entity, whit seperate attacks, that buffed by pet and Hydra legendarys.

Maybe an mirror image build with Electrocute? Idk that skill was never used for a build, meanwhile both Arcane orb and Hydra have their dedicated builds.
