I didnt know about this “March” only event but here is a video of some guy showing it takes 2hours 40 minutes 1 to 70 soloing with a barb. It might be faster if you dont get unlucky finding the zone. I think I might try it: Full Kanai Leveling Method Season 20 Diablo 3 Patch 2.6.8 Guide - YouTube
bluddshed is one of the very best D3 players in the world…if it takes him 2 hours and 40 mins, it’ll be double that for the average player lol…
My cheating method when I want to quickly level up a new character (to just try a new build, etc) is to find the War that Time Forgot event and tape down my X button )
It’s risky when playing hardcore but gets the job done
I watched the first hour of the video and 2 things spring to mind:
- that barb does a crap load more damage than a lvl 1 DH with base primary skills - the dmg differential is like 2-3x more damage for a barb than a DH. Blizzard must fix this. Not only are we the weakest class at lvl 70, but we are the weakest and slowest class to lvl to 70…
If Blizzard calls that a balanced game, then they really don’t understand the meaning of the word “balance”…
- This is even harder for consoles, as pre lvl 70, and below torment 1, mob health is about double that of the PC version of the game. I don’t know if Kanai scales with his damage, or if it’ll take him twice as long to mow down cow mobs on consoles if below torment lvl. As far as I know, mob health is the same on both platforms at torment 1 and above.
Will test further tonight.
For Demon Hunter, you either need to do Halls of Agony 1 Traps on T6, or pray that when you upgrade a dagger, you can get Lord Greenstone’s Fan. With LGF, you can hit 70 within 90 minutes with a little practice.
Nope, I am leveling elsewhere and not rifts or T6 blades, but can run T2-T4 pretty efficiently.
2 hr 40 mins is slow solo. I ran the method in an hour on solo with perfect conditions (Bloodtide Blade).
I do not know if this is the best for solo but I used to do this
Go to act 2 the new boss stage… the tombs there spawn crazy amount of mobs, progression is entirely up to yourself or skill because you need combos streak over anything else so either you want to play easy or T6 entirely up to you.
Go map dun kill anything run around survey the whole map then if could leave the treasure chest last you can easily get more than 200Kills with practice.
Next you can get out easily or change torments whenever you complete be it you got a pre lvl 70 weapon so you can choose higher difficulty…
I know DH love RF in pre 70 but IMO chrakam works the best because of close corridors in that lvl plant sentries away from you so to get a better combo
halls is good too but as mention if you have good position skills you might try what I mention because easily the mops is 3x times more & moreover a chest which spawns frequently moreover the mops are easier to kill
The problem with LGF is it’s not usable to clvl 13…it is better than karleis I do admit (pre lvl 70, post lvl 70 is a completely different story of course!).
I know of the traps via halls of agony lvl 1 t6, but have never tried it in season. It usually takes me between 5-6 hours solo…
I don’t know how people are doing it faster than that, I simply cannot do enough dmg. And this is with fishing for weapons at fences and blacksmith etc, and also other gear (dmg rings/amulets etc). To be fair, I’m on PS4, and mob health pre clvl 70 and master diff and lower is much higher than on the PC version of the game.
For LGF, you only run HoA traps until level 12, when you get Chakram. Then you rush to grab the cube. From thereon out, it’s Temple of the Firstborn with LGF.
he states there are better leveling methods in the video but he also said this is one of the first (i guess season 10 you had 1 day to do it) to level up this method in a season.
