Any Console Players Here Try D:I....?

Well Since most of us can’t comment and/or input in the General Forums, I thought I just ask here…even though D:I is PC & mobile Only…if any got around to actually giving D;I a try and go?..and if so what’s their take, review, overall feeling, fears, pros, cons…etc…

I did DL and played…I’m at Level 30 but have reservations on continuing to play. There are pros and cons which by now majority have seen and read about. The Game is no D3, PoE, Grim Dawn for a fact. It’s obvious it’s made mainly for mobile yet it still seems fun overall and fits in between D3 and D2: Resurrection at least to me. Combat is fine and big plus is grouping for Rifts and Boss Fights…Look & visually actually not bad at all…

BUT…the P2W element while not overall obvious but more like lures you in slowly as you level up does become more obvious…mainly around Gems. I’ve played F2P games in the past that were fun at first only to get to a certain point that it’s either Pay Up (for better gear and getting stronger) or have little to no chance of success…and in Diablo, Gems are a key to success but sadly they’re behind the P2W wall…

That about sums it up. I’m enjoying it enough to keep playing, but not enough to make it my primary Diablo game. I’ll play it as a F2P player until Season 27 starts.

I’ve been on and enjoying it but I understand the it is P2W and we can never compete.

But it is still a bit enjoyable.

Hey Homer and Hope All is Well…I agree…I actually liked playing, something different, not D2:R and not D3, not PoE or Grim Dawn but sort of in the middle on its own. I really liked he safe areas seeing other players and doing the Rifts in a Group was fun and easy in terms of joining…shame we don’t have something like that on consoles…

But as I leveled up the 'Gem Issue" became apparent and after seeing videos, comments where others had progressed even more and their take on it…which was basically you’ll need to pay (for Gems) or you’re going to get you’ll be taken to the back of the woodshed and get your butt handed to you…I stopped and haven’t gone back since…

I’ve seen a lot comment saying they would gladly pay for this and maybe have just cosmetics to buy…I would. But as many said, this was first going to be tageting Mobile Users and right now most of them have no problem spending $$$$…and if that means kicking Diablo Faithful under the bus…so be it…Shame, because if they olened it without the P2W, they could still make money.

I love the Warframe Model by Digital Extremes…you can basically buy almost anything in there but everything is also available to play and get…and you still have to play to level up, gain in game currency, resources, access areas, etc…it’s no where near a P2W…and they make a lot $$$$…

end game is 100% pay to win. You can do everything before you reach the endgame without paying a dime. I would suggest just playing the story and when the end game starts, uninstall it and move on to something else.

Since the Dutch Government has decided to consider D:I “gambling”, we can’t play it here… although we can basically gamble away anything online if we want to on every type of site, including government owned Holland Casino, a little chance element in a game is too dangerous… Gotta love the hippocracy…

For a mobile game its ok. I wouldn’t sink much time into. I made it to rank 2 wizard on my server, but got passed by whales. I inspected their gear and realized they had to have spent quite a bit. Pvp is a joke for this reason.

D4 on the other hand is looking really good. I hope they do not make it like Diablo Immoral with p2w features. I highly doubt it but who knows.
