Any changes in Season 20 Meta?

With the release of the patch preview of 2.6.8.

Does S20 seasonal theme would affect 4p meta In terms of speed GR or Push GR. In season 20?

Yes there will be a change unfortunately it will probably manifest a week or two Into the season due to theme and outliers could have been over looked. We just know bazooka won’t be part of it.

This is my opinion so take this with a pinch of salt
I think that nothing will beats rats for xp and speeds particularly this season … Rats were running sub 3 min gr115 comfortably mid season now It’s expected that they bump it 10 tiers higher if not more …

For the push meta I think that the prenerf ptr wD and the nova necro trash clearer were at the same level …now with the nerf and more due to the laggs caused by the phantasms speed than the nerf ; Nova necros will come ahead as trash clearer .

For RGK I think that crusaders will still be top contender with LOD poison lancer as a close second … H90 barbs can be considered but they are imho far behind …

For leader board timed push at the end of season nothing beats fishing with thorn necro
and the usual zdps zmonk and zbarb

I think you nailed it. It’ll be a really good season to play necro if you plan on grouping. Rats then double necro, zbarb, and zmonk for final pushes. Guess I’ll be sitting another season out as that just doesn’t appeal to me personally.

I think necro would be an ideal choice that would fit well with the seasonal theme and seems necro is a front runner for S20 speeds.

For pushes I agree as I think RGK will be sader, and nova necro as trash killer. As result over all I think meta is back to be in the favor for necro.

Sadly 3 new sets none of them is making it to be part of meta in S20.

Dunno if they will do some adjustment before season start but I doubt it though.

Yeah I doubt it considering how they’ve done things in the past. This is likely how season 20 will go live. Shame because I was really hopefully that the speed meta could be addressed since they finally killed bazooka.
