Blizzard, you really do need to fix mob density on consoles, which is poorer than the PC version.
You really need to trash NG mechanic on consoles and adopt the PC version. Example - I’m pushing a high tier GR145-150 run. I spawn the RG with 5 minutes to spare. I have full NG bonus at the start of the fight, but it drops out after 3 minutes. That means the last 2 minutes of the fight are without NG bonus and half damage (vs PC) whilst the RG has the same health as the PC version of the game…making it twice as hard for console players due to broken system mechanics on the console ports.
Bane of the stricken - since there is no mouse/pointer on consoles, they rely on auto target. Yes, you can lock target, but that is a right royal pain in the you knew what. And, that tactic is of ZERO use to builds like Trag’Ouls Death Nova, where the build requires mob density for damage, so trying to target lock the elite in a dense mob of monsters is hard. Furthermore, this guarantees that Bane of the stricken is broken on consoles, at least throughout the GR until you spawn the RG and have a solo target. And even then, for the RG, this build wants density via a RG with spawns and/or an unused pylon.
Sure, we can run the GRs until the sky is Blue for that “perfect” run of mobs/elites/density/maps and pylons and RG spawn, but that’s a big lottery that PC players do not have to play.
Fix your broken console ports. You took our money…happily enough. Putting up your hands and saying “we can’t support consoles, talk to Sony/Microsoft” is utter nonsense. YOU developed the game. It’s yours. Not Microsoft’s and not Sony’s. YOURS. Take responsibility for bad game design.
PS after so many long term design issues with the console ports for D3, the crap that is D4, if you think I’m gonna give you money for D5, you’re dreaming.
