I’m fairly new to the game, and this is the first season I’ve ever played through. I finally acquired an Angelic Crucible after hitting P350, but it seems like I can’t actually use it with anything. I’ve tried numerous weapons, armor pieces, rings, etc., but nothing works. I understand that items need to be LV 70 to be placed into the Crucible, but I always get a message saying that the item can’t be sanctified. Does it only work with specific items or am I just completely confused?
You didn’t specify which items you’re trying to use it on.
Angelic Crucibles can only be used on Legendary items.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I’ve attempted to use every single equipabble item in my inventory (all legendary/set/lvl 70) in the crucible and absolutely nothing will work. Im just assuming it’s a bug on my end.
You still haven’t said which items you’re trying to Sanctify.
For example: Crafted items CANNOT be Sanctified. That includes Sage’s Journey, Cain’s Destiny, Aughild’s Authority and others. It also includes any crafted Legendary items.
If it DOES NOT drop in hostile areas and MUST be crafted by the Blacksmith or Jeweler, then it can’t be Sanctified.

Just to check, to sanctify an item, on PC at least, you right click on the Crucible, a small anvil/hammer shows up and then you click on the item you want to sanctify.
I assume, on console it is similar, so hopefully you are using the correct order to sanctify an item.

To add to that, you need to unequip that item first (move it to your inventory, that is).

Although, they did say they tried all Legendary items “in my inventory”.

Oh yeah, I missed that bit. However, I’m not on the console, so I do not know if the error messages are the same as on PC. I mean, when you try to sanctify an equipped item (even if it is a crafted item), the text in red clearly says that you “cannot sanctify equipped items”. When the crucible is applied to a crafted item in the inventory, it says that “this item cannot be sanctified”.
So, if the messages are the same on console and PC, he must have tried to sanctify either non-legendary items, or items below level 70, or crafted items. But it seems strange to not have any applicable items at paragon 350, doesn’t it?
Without a video (or otherwise more detailed info) it’s hard to tell what’s wrong.

Neither am I. In fact, the image I embedded above was done on PC.
I’ve been thinking this whole time that they’re trying to Sanctify crafted Legendary and Set items. That’s why I mentioned twice, in two different posts, that they haven’t specified which items they’re trying to Sanctify.
Exactly. They just keep responding with “Legendary” and “Set” items.
I’m just glad they didn’t post this in the Console Bug Report Forum.
