I have had a barbarian for a few years now and I play him on level 16. Today he beat Diablo. But I am unable to get the legs and boots of the “Wrath of the Wastes” on Ancient level. I have used the cube to create them, as well as using my blood shards, and neither one ever turns up as Ancient. Do these two pieces actually have an Ancient level?
Yes, they can even drop / roll as Primal pieces. It’s just RNG, keep grinding, burning those shards and materials in the cube, and eventually you’ll get ancient ones.
Spoiler alert: the first 2 or 3 ancients you get will actually be rolled worse than your ‘ordinary’ legendaries.

They do, but it doesnt matter since you should be using crimson legs anyway. But to each their own.
‘Set to set’ recipe don’t give ancient items.
