Just wanna make sure that you can use a primal (ancient) Puzzlering made by recipe 11 in the kube to sacrifice on the Altar?
I did some reforges to get an ancient, but without luck. Bounty runes are easy to get but reforging eats up too many souls in early season.
UPDATE: It works. Just tested.
Primal is actually “Primal Ancient”, so I think it should work. If it does not, the “Sacrifice” button will be disabled anyways or will not let you select Primal PR.

you would have been better off salvaging the primal ancient ring, that would have unlocked your 1st potion.
I can confirm it works, I did it today.
Nice, I think I might have to do this, around 20 puzzle rings and no ancient so far.
I unlocked that with my gr70 primal (Sebor’s Nightmare) and later I was lucky to get two more primals.
It’s not a primal ancient ring if you make it via cube 11th recipe, it will be a PRIMORDIAL Ancient or wording goes something along this lines.
If I understood correctly, this is what you’ve done. You have used 100 primordial ashes at the cube (that last recipe - 11th?) to upgrade upgrade puzzle ring to primordial ancient, right?
Please confirm that it works since I’m thinking that I might need to do the same.

Both crafted and dropped Primals are called Primal Ancient, there’s no difference in the wording. The mats are called “Primordial Ashes” though.
It works perfectly. A short while after asking I used the 11th recipe to make a primordial ancient puzzlering, which I then sacrificed.
